The engineers were punctual, arrived on time, and immediately assessed the problem with a professional attitude. They explained the issue clearly and provided a detailed breakdown of the potential solutions, making sure I understood the costs and benefits of each option.
The quality of the work was outstanding. They were very thorough, ensuring the job was done right the first time. What I appreciated most was that they didn’t cut any corners—they tested everything to make sure the problem was completely resolved before leaving. My heating system is now working better than ever!
Throughout the process, communication was clear and friendly. They took care to keep the work area clean and left my home as tidy as they found it.
I would highly recommend AddHeat to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality service. It’s rare to find a company with engineers who are not only skilled but also dedicated to customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be calling them for any future work.
Adam and his team were awesome. From start to finish. They were polite, professional, very helpful and best of all, they were neat and tidy...really neat and tidy!!! We are more than pleased with the boiler replacement and we will definitely use Add Heat again.
It wasn't a simple job either! We had an old fashion back boiler replaced with a combi boiler.
Prompt, hardworking, helpful and importantly for me... Clean and Tidy workers! So happy with our New boiler, which they relocated (with seeming ease) from an outside building, to the other side of the house, in just a day and a half!
We left them a Key on day 2, as we had to go into work - Totally trustworthy Guys!
How Do Oil Boilers Work?
Oil boilers burn oil for fuel, instead of gas or LPG. They then use this to provide heat for a central heating system in much the same way as any other boiler does. Oil can power combination heating systems, regular conventional or system boilers and take their water supply from the mains or a storage tank.
Oil central heating systems heat radiators, showers and hot water taps in just the same was as other boilers, efficiently delivering heat and hot water around the home.
Oil fired boilers require an oil tank to store the oil. The tanks will need regular filling from an oil tanker which will use a hose to fill the oil tank from the truck. How often the tank needs filling will depend on how much oil you use and the size of the tank, so be sure to take advice on this before installation.
Oil tanks need to comply with UK building regulations. OFTEC (Oil Firing Technical Association) provide details on current regulations for oil fired central heating systems.
